To play games on the platform, you need to add a game license to an account that requires an authentication code generated by Blizzard. For gaming licenses purchased in the retail sector, the authentication code is either contained in the packaging materials or sent electronically. If you purchase a game digitally from Blizzard, the authentication code will be assigned to the account when you purchase the game. If you do not comply with the terms of this Agreement and/or the Ingame Guidelines or Code of Conduct, Blizzard will notify you of your non-compliance. In the event of a serious breach of this Agreement, Rules in Play or Code of Conduct, Blizzard is authorized to terminate this agreement, platform and/or gaming license immediately without notice. Serious offences are offences under important provisions, including provisions 1.A.ii.2, 1.A.IV., 1.B.iii., 1.C., 1.D.i.2.g, 2 and 3.B of this Agreement, or repeated violations of other provisions of this Agreement or Ingames Guidelines, including other violations if you have already received a prior warning. If you are a (1) Canadian resident who (2) has acquired a licence for a game in Canada, other laws may apply if you decide not to accept conciliation as stated above. These laws affect this agreement only to the extent that the court requires it. If such laws apply, the terms of this agreement will certify their maximum effect. With the exception of licensee games, Blizzard owns or holds all rights, titles and interests on and on the platform, including games that are produced and developed by Blizzard Games, custom games derived from a Blizzard game, accounts and all features and components of it. The platform may contain materials that have been granted to Blizzard by third parties and these third parties may assert their property rights to you if you violate this Agreement. The following components of the platform (which do not contain content or components of licensees` games) are owned by Blizzard or licensed: Beta-Tests and Real Money Features. Some games may have features that allow you to purchase licenses for the use of digital objects or services via the game`s interface.
If you purchase a license to use a digital item or service on the game`s user interface during a beta test, all purchases are subject to the terms of sale. Blizzard does not give you a refund for the purchase of an item or digital service, and in some cases, items or services purchased during a beta test cannot be converted to the sale version of a game. In these cases, Blizzard provides you with information explaining the credit you would get for your purchase of digital goods or services for real money during a beta test, once the beta test is complete. In light of the recent wave of prohibitions, I have put the C.B.A. for all of you, so that we can simply see the important information contained in it. The only information I am referring to is the prohibited offences and fraud in general clauses. Most of you who have a brain may obviously realize that fraud is false and unfair.
